Comfort In A Pandemic

“We are living in unprecedented times” I think the true unprecedented thing is how many times I’ve heard “unprecedented” these past few months.

What was supposed to be a 14 day shutdown has turned into over a 60 day isolation period. People have lost jobs and some are losing hope. Let this not be the case for believers! God is still sovereign, God is still in control and God will always make our paths straight.

We have seen an artistic explosion from sports documentaries to artists dropping full albums, doing live concerts and more challenges than we can count. Perhaps a little good has come from this time of isolation. Perhaps it was a time to refocus.

Now as re-openings slowly begin, let us remember our creative energy and remember our God who works good in all situations. “28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

Let us also be thankful for our churches. My wife and I were finally able to attend an in person church service yesterday and man oh man did it feel good to be among our family in Christ again. I hope to never neglect community again.

Stay encouraged and stay focused. Our King always knows what He is doing.
